Villa Geminis

We stayed in the gorgeous Villa Geminis boutique hotel in Tulum. It was a little tropical paradise with only 12 rooms with stunning grounds of trees, flowers, fishes and hammocks by the pool area. The location was perfect in the centre of the old town.

The Penthouse

We stayed in the Matisse penthouse (all named after artists). It was a huge studio apartment with a king size bed, sofa, kitchen and large stone bathroom. We were set back from the other rooms and were able to walk around the outside which had a large outdoor tub, chairs and a sunbed.

The room rate came with complimentary continental breakfast which was served near the reception area in the mornings between 8 and 10. There was fresh fruit available (watermelon, melon and pineapple) and bananas with granola, natural yoghurt, chia seeds, bread, cake and rolls and eggs. There was more than enough fresh produce to choose from!

Overall

We had such a great stay at this hotel in Tulum. The staff were friendly and always willing to answer questions, arrange trips and offer restaurant recommendations. The penthouse was ￡120 per night but the other rooms are a little cheaper.
