Welcome to Chuo which is Europe’s first sushi monorail! It has seamless ordering through a QR code with dishes freshly prepared and delivered right to your table by the monorail.

It’s not style over substance though as, not only are the dishes very reasonably priced (ranging from ￡2-10), they are great quality.

Our favourite dishes were:

• Ikura Gunkan: Two pieces of gunkan with ikura (salmon roe)
• Green Dragon Roll: Four pieces of prawn tempura and cucumber uramaki topped with avocado, spicy mayo, chili and ikura (salmon roe).
• Maguro Tataki: Four slices of lightly seared tuna with yuzu-kusho mayo, ponzu sauce, spring onion, togarashi powder and kizami wasabi.

Chuo is a really cool and quirky spot serving excellent sushi in Shoreditch. There the dishes are fantastic value with no compromise on presentation and quality! The restaurant is also vegan and dog friendly.
