Pan Pacific Hotel Liverpool Street
Sunday Roast in Liverpool Street
We had such an amazing 3 course Sunday Roast in Liverpool Street at 5 star hotel, Pan Pacific. The interiors are slick with modern views of the City including the iconic Gherkin.
The £49 set menu includes a glass of Taittinger champagne on arrival (which on its own is £22) and nibbles including Toasted Sourdough with black garlic butter and Edamame. The Asian influences shine through menu, providing a Sunday Roast that is different (and arguably better) than a traditional menu. To top it off, there is live music throughout the dinner adding a lovely touch.
There are five choices of starters including Soy-Cured Salmon, Crispy Duck Salad and Pork Bakso.
The Sunday Roast mains include the following:
- Jimmy Butler’s Pork Belly, char siu, plum sauce
- Dry Aged Peking Style Duck, hoisin sauce
- 28 day Hereford Sirlion
- Base Gade Line-Caught Sea Bass, toasted coconut
- Blackened Aubergine
They also come with UNLIMITED SIDES including
- Duck Fat Roast Potatoes
- Yorkshire Pudding
- Carrot & Butternut Squash Mash
- Seasonal Greens
- Leek & Cauliflower Cheese
The quality of the food was exceptional – the meat was tender, the roasties crispy with a delicious mixture of sides. Desserts included my favourite Sticky Toffee Pudding as well as a Selection of Cheese.
I was so impressed with the this offering in terms of quantity of food and value (with no additional supplements). Service was very friendly especially with 2 year old daughter Immy. There’s also a cocktail bar, Ginger Lily Lounge, on the first floor – I recommend the Aperol Sips.
